Html5, Javascript and Style

This site contains a number of my musings about client side web development, with much emphasis placed on Html5 and Javascript. I've put it together as an exercise in developing a dynamic website that has little to no server side processing — something that I've been thinking about for years.

Viewing the source, you'll see virtually every component used to put the site together is hand crafted. I use javascript libraries and API's — many of which I have written myself — to pull information and functionality in from disparate systems. I've been particular in my UI design, with a view to exercise some of my design skills in order to create a readable site. I've taken inspiration from a number of sources, including magazines articles and layout. The image collage above, should hopefully be reminiscent of a magazine's contents page (minus the page numbers and titles). It'll update when I post new material.

As time goes by, I'll develop this 'contents' page further. For now though, here is a taste of some of the articles I've written;
